It's about time they cut defense spending... It's totally out of control.. What is the interest paid on the national debt now?

The issue I still have with the budget is the overcharging and literal price gouging that happens with military contracts. We are paying way too much for things because there are only a few companies that can make the supplies we use. How long were the newest destroyers in service? The marines amphibious landing craft that cannot handle waves? A new general purpose vehicle that meets some of the requirements? Sorry, I saw all this when I was still in and it pisses me off to this day.
