There are two important things to know in markets; In bear markets people buy to little when there`s bad sentiment not risking enough because of "risk management", and in bull markets people sell too early just because of bear market sentiment "ptsd".

People around me rn aren`t asking me HOW much I`ve made this year, they're asking IF I`m making money in crypto and the markets - near the top people are not asking IF you're making money, they know because of macro sentiment even if they aren't even close to being in the markets themselves. People are STILL fearful and scared, believe it or not.

Hey Camel - lurker here who enjoys your TA (as a non TA guy!)

Most participants are pretty uninformed around MSTR. There is risk with their approach

Their cash raising is based on 2 approaches, an ATM (selling new shares) and the convertible notes.

The new shares (ATM) have no risk, but the convertible notes have risk. They have an expiration date at which point investors can request either shares or cash payback. If investors request shares, no real issue, but if the share price is lower then the convertible amount the investors will ask for cash, and MSTR just doesn't have enough cash on hand, and it's software business doesn't throw much off, to pay back the bond investors. In this instance MSTR will either need to mass dump BTC or issue new debt, presumably at a much higher interest rate, to cover the debt payments. I think both of these would tank and possibly bankrupt MSTR. For now, holding though! As a UK investor MSTR has made my pension look very healthy hahaha

It's important to understand that investing and trading go beyond technical analysis skills. Developing discipline and emotional maturity is a significant aspect that requires effort. The focus should be on time in the market rather than timing the market. Adopting this mentality as an investor allows for a calm approach even during turbulent times. In just a few months, I noticed substantial financial growth and have since continued along the same path with Mrs Bruce.

you’re comparing this bull run to 2020 when he literally first started buying bitcoin. i’m bullish on this because he keeps accumulating more. if you believe in bitcoin. it will go up. follow bitcoins chart. get out when you think btc hits the top of this cycle. personally I think this is going to $3K-$5K this cycle.

I think an interesting thing to keep an eye on is the Japanese Interest rate decision on the 18th December fits in quite well with this blow off top and with the dollar gaining strength and if it keeps gaining up until December I can see another carry trade upwind being the start of this market retraction I'm certainly a bit jittery coming up to that date could be the nail in the coffin for the stock market... I closed all my MSTR and Coin positions in my pension account yesterday. Missed on a nice pump - do I have any regrets! NO. Both positions have set me up for a nice pension later in life - I just can’t risk that. That’s one less thing I need to worry about. That plan for the worst saying is spot on. Saying that I will buy a small position in MSTR today as a ST hold but if it goes down 50% I’m still good.
