They are also chanting, "he was not afraid so we are not afraid."
Such courage is awe inspiring.

A voice that spoke the truth
A heart that loved his land
A mind that saw the future
A soul that never bent

He faced the darkest forces
He suffered for his cause
He rallied millions of people
He challenged unjust laws

He paid the highest price
He gave his life away
He left a lasting legacy
He showed us how to stay

Navalny, we remember you
Navalny, we salute you
Navalny, we will carry on
Navalny, you are not gone

A dictator has absolute power. Until one day they don't. History does repeat itself.

Several thousands of mourners gathered in Moscow today. The line to the church and later to the cemetery stretched for 2 km. People chanted “We will never forget and will never forgive”, “Russia without Putin”, “No to war”.

I mean keep in mind...he had the chance to stay in exile safe with his family. He choose to go back although knowing what will happen and all the consequences that come with this return to Russia straight into the hands of a dictator. He took that consequence. He paid the highest price for his belive for a better, democratic Russia. What kind of courage a person must have to go down this path of suffering and in the end do the max sacrifice. R.I.P.

Chants we heard in the crowd:
LOVE IS STRONGER THAN FEAR
NO TO WAR
RUSSIA WILL BE FREE
ME/WE ARE NAVALNY
RUSSIA WITHOUT PUTIN
FREEDOM TO POLITICAL PRISONERS
WILL NOT FORGET WILL NOT FORGIVE
PUTIN IS A KILLER
HEROES DON'T DIE
LET US MOURN

It causes me great pain that a living former President compares his travails to this man. It is obscens . A real patriot is being buried today.

By killing him, they made sure Mr. Navalny becomes a martyr.
He was a role model and a leader in the fight for justice and for good.
He is gone now, but he will never be forgotten! He made the fight against corruption his life's work and this is his legacy. He will always inspire all of us!
May he finally rest in peace! Condolences to his family!
