Speaker bio:
Chun Ya (CY) Chen has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry; he joined AMD in 1983 and then IDT between 1986-2019, he was VP of Technology and Operation. During the 33 years in IDT, CY has work on many new products from development to mass production as well as many investment and acquisition high Tech companies . Most noticeable products are SRAM, Switches, Memory buffer/Register, Wireless Charger, Lite and image Sensor etc; Chen also managed International wafer manufacturing Fabs and assembly facilities for the company and then transform the company to Fabless, Chen witness the full cycle change from IDM to outsourcing.
Chen was elected to be the board member of the Monte Jade West in April 2014 and then elected to be the Chairman of the Board on April 2015 and 2016, He was elected to be the Chairman of Global Monte Jade in 2019.
Chen also holds varies position on Community service organization, Chen is co founder of Benefit Tomorrow Foundation since 2011, Board member of ACE since 2018 (Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce & Entrepreneurship in Washington DC (National ACE), Board member and Vice Chair SF Chapter of ILF (International Leadership Foundation in Washington DC),
