Back when Dominara and Ixalan was in rotation, I had a pretty janky Elves deck that used Mending of Dominara and the one elf that proliferates whenever a land comes in.

18:41 Playing the one drop first gives you the chance of getting one more card if there is another one drop on top, you've even said it earlier in the video :) given the triple sweeper already played by the opponent it is less likely to get a forth one, so committing to the board is not that crazy (at the same time more fuel in your hand). The drawback is that you have to draw a land for the Behemoth
