Both airlines serve better quality food flying from Japan. They do very well with the international meals, however because they are a Japanese airline, the Japanese course is where they shine the most. Great breakdown! Can’t believe Taylor went inside that space!!!

As someone who lives in the Kansai area, I prefer All Nippon Airways, which actively operates B737s on local routes from Osaka. Even on local routes with very low demand, All Nippon Airways uses the Dash8 Q400. On the other hand, the Japan Airlines Group operates the E190 and other aircraft even on high-demand local routes, and on routes with low demand, such as the former Japan Air System, they use very small aircraft such as the ATR42.

On Japan Airlines' domestic flights, first-class aircraft such as the A350 only operate on major routes departing from Tokyo, except for the route between Osaka and Okinawa.

Excellent video. I admit - I figured it would be two Chipotle Peloton looking people blasting same hold HipPop and crazy graphics -- - and I was wrong. Well spoken, articulate, and they focused on the really relevant details. So many reviews are 80% clouds and sky, 20% real details. This one was 100% has a great idea now of what counts - seats, space, food, bedding.

Thanks for the review, but I disagree with your review of ANA's bed. We just flew the same route from Tokyo to JFK 2 weeks ago and love the bed/seat. It was so huge & comfy for us. I'm not sure how tall you and your husband is. I see him lying diagonally instead of straight. I'm 5'8" and comfortably lies straight while sleeping and it's just so comfortable.
