It reduces the inflammation
I’ve tried it before works well and quickly
But not with pickles
Use a cotton ball
And don’t reuse it

I use rubbing alcohol. I have very seriously bad reactions to mosquito bites. Rubbing alcohol fixes that asap.

What does work sometimes, clay facial masks. Overnight. For mild ones. Suppresses the itch. Make sure to wash the area with soap and water first. If that does not work go to hydrocortisone

I get the concept, vinegar CAN help with a bug bite by neutralizing venom and helping relieve the itch while the pickle slice itself is cold and helps sooth itching and inflammation. If only she understood that vinegar doesn’t exactly sanitize anything as it’s a preservative
