Hey, thanks for making these vids. I'm just starting out learning Python and I'm finding it frustrating how some of the codes are different in the older version of Python which the videos are primarily using. Your videos have been very helpful so far and I like how much detail you go into. Subbed.

There are times where you will get boxes and it is because whatever you are using (in this case idle) isn't supporting that character value correctly. Try using your command prompt to do this.

Great material man, just a note on the "\x" in print()

At 4:42, I don't know what it's doing to the 56 but it's certainly not printing it in hexadecimal; 56 in hexadecimal is 38

Remember that in the hexadecimal system the characters representing the numbers only go up to F

It may be some other kind of encoding.

I do not know C# and at this point don't really feel the need to learn it. If after I am finished with C I may go onto C#, but I do not have a reason to learn C# when I know languages that can do its job just as well or better. However I would say C# is better than Java and I could give you some books on it.

Hey I've been wanting to program and make games because I'm really interested and fascinated by how it works. I am 12 and I have a question because whenever I do /a, \b and \v It comes up with a square. and whenver I do \t It has like 12 spaces even though I set the standard spaces to 4. I am using Windows 7 and I am using IDLE. Please help and thanks

Thanks for the note I just looked it back up. I believe that is actually unicode. You can use it to print hex in the same manner just using like 3F and such I am sorry I should of thought of a hex number before hand :P
