There are moments in life that leave an indelible mark on our souls, and my journey to Petra is undoubtedly one of them. As a child, I was captivated by the scenes from “Indiana Jones,” finding it hard to believe that such a place could exist outside the realm of fantasy.

Walking through the narrow canyon and witnessing the Treasury of Petra gradually reveal itself was a profound experience. The sense of awe that washed over me was almost indescribable; an uncontrollable smile spread across my face as I stood there, marveling at the grandeur before me.

Reflecting on my past, growing up in Monroeville with a limited perspective, I could never have envisioned the wonders I would one day witness. Through the grace and kindness of the Lord, I have been blessed with incredible opportunities to explore the world, each journey expanding my horizons and enriching my life in ways I never thought possible. #petra #indianajones #thestoriedoutdoors
