I dont think it's a bad move to sign Olmo! Next season, Guodugan leaves! We have Olmo, Pedri, and Fermin in the CAM position! Pedri and Olmo are injury prone. Fermin ain't! Fermin is still a kid and would grow into an incredible player! Stop normalization of 17 year olds being our key player

I think Flick actually is looking at Olmo, Fermin and Torre as his 10s and will drop Pedri inti the double pivot like he did with Thiago at Bayern. He will use Pedri to control the game and pair him with a ball winner like Gavi or Casado. I think Flick and Deco are planning for the next year without Gundo and Frenkie and thats why they got Olmo now. Nico will be a barca player either this year or next and that covers their LW.

Dont be suprised either if Flick pulls a fast one and converts Fati to CF to see of he can take off there. Apparently that was the plan before his injury.

Barca were looking for a cam and a LW, We have many midfielders such as Fermin, Pedri, Gavi, Gundogan, De Jong, Pablo Torre and Now Casado. Now the only midfielder between those 7 whose natural position is a pivot is Casado. With the Arrival of Dani Olmo; who can play both in the midfield and LW, one of the 7 players i just mentioned could be moved to the pivot position and in my opinion that will be either Frenkie De Jong or Gavi.

The signing makes sense. Pedri will be playing as a 6 with gavi or Casado and also gundo. Which means we have 2 players in the 10 position in Fermin and Dani. In a season where we could play up to 60 games, it is really necessary and a great decision from the board. Pedro needs to be a deep lying playmaker not a 10

Having a different profile is fine and I also agree a LW is needed but after looking at the preseason for Hansi's inside wingers system Olmo suits more than Nico. I understand the signing but if this does not work out in certain matches and when we need a pure LW we don't have anyone. We should have gone for Philogene strongly. Olmo is not starting as a 10 he is going to start as a left inside forward. I think until pedri returns it is going to be Gundo with Cassado and Bernal behind him. I don't Christensen starting in midfield with the way he played the milan match.
