British PM Sunak vows to “fight very hard” for Israel’s security

British PM Rishi Sunak vowed to “fight very hard for the security” of Israel, during remarks made recently at the Conservative Friends of Israel's annual lunch in London.

Sunak also stated that the UK will vote against a forthcoming UN General Assembly vote requesting an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Israel's occupation of Palestinian lands since 1967.

As a Norwegian, I don’t understand how someone like Sunak, a son of immigrants himself, can think in such an arrogant and detached way. Did he forget where he came from?
