Being Canadian, a twelve hour drive is commonplace . It takes three like that just to go from one end of Ontario to the other and that is only one province out ten. I do very much like your videos and also follow Jordon and family. Love all your dogs and Moo moo. You and Freddie are made for each other and it shows. If you think the ATM was possibly hacked, you should get in touch with your bank or card holder. You don't want to need money and find an empty bank account. Hacking is all over the world now. Stay aware and only make money transfers at a bank - not an ATM. Just a suggestion. Have a good trip.

Don't set your passport or DL down anywhere in Costa Rica. Take it to the shower room too. Or watch them for each other. CR is a lovely country to visit, I have done so several times, but everyone needs to be careful. Things have a way of disappearing in CR, especially out of cars.

I’m American living in Norway. Part of the reason for that was to experience something different. And that’s one of reasons I enjoy your channel (and J & K’s). It is fun to live vicariously through your life. Incidentally I had a Costa Rican employee once back in North Dakota. He was on a youth work exchange program. It is going to be fun to see some of that country on your adventures!

Exciting you two! You've worked so hard and need a decent beak somewhere you love. We went to Mexico, flew, rented a car, and got stopped by a police officer who told us we were speeding, ran through a yellow light, and weren't respecting Mexican laws. None of that was true, but, if we paid him 200 USD, we could go, or else, got to the police station. All the gringos in rented cars were being stopped. Stopped again on way back to the airport. Ugh. It made us feel so crappy, to be ripped off by people who are supposed to be upholding the law.
