This video covers content which is part of the Data Analysis Area of Study in the VCE Further Mathematics course.
This video introduces mean and standard deviation as alternative measures of centre and spread respectively. The video includes:

My class uses the Cambridge Senior Mathematics textbook for Units 3 and 4 Further Mathematics for the Australian Curriculum / VCE. Some of the examples used in this video may have come from the MathsQuest 12 Further Mathematics textbook, published by Jacaranda.
Throughout the video I make use of the TI Nspire CAS CX II handheld.
