I can really share your feelings about getting lost and scrambling for life. My brother and me got lost in the Olympic national park in 2014, no GPS only map. That was one of the scariest 8 hours of my life. We followed a trail that ended up leading nowhere and eventually turned into animal tracks. The Olympic is like a jungle, and full of extremely steep hillsides and deep gorges. We followed a stream and after many hours of scrambling we saw smoke. I was so relieved...

Dank u wel! Zo aanstekelijk, en u laat het zo natuurlijk gebeuren allemaal, mooi weer, slecht weer, regen, zon, .... :-).... deritg jaar geleden zijn mijn vrouw en ik in september gestrand na de eerste dag wegens lawinegevaar verderop. Ik ben inmiddels 64 en wandel heel graag. Ik ben totaal gemotiveerd om nog eens 10 kg af te vallen en de GR 20 een kans te geven. Nogmaals dank, en veel wandelplezier voor u gewenst!

Nice, I remember my hike on the nothern half back in August 2018, it was raining every day. That made it pretty spicy and sometimes quite dangerous, still one of the best hikes I've done so far
