I was doing the last part of the video; closing all the windows one by one and when I returned to the platform, I asked myself, what the heck went wrong, where are my windows I had already set. AHAHA you saved my day. Thanks.

Workspaces have never worked for me. Even if I say "no" don't save when exiting Ninjatrader, it still saves as nothing (no charts) because I closed the charts. It will only save if you don't modify or even close your charts. Terrible functionality! Metatrader does the same thing. I had to make my profiles read-only to prevent Metatrader from destroying them. I need to figure out the same in Ninjatrader.

Just installed latest version of Ninjatrader 8 on 5/7/2021. Set up a "Workspace", saved it while NOT minimized, and closed Ninjatrader. Now, I can see the saved "Workspace", but Ninjatrader will NOT open it. Why? I clicked the saved Workspace, double clicked it, right clicked and chose "open", and - much to my chagrin - it will not open. Please help me! Looked online and it seems this issue is very common in v8, but know one knows the cause or fix. Anyone here know the fix? Thanks in advance! - John

I have an issue where it won't allow me to uncheck the global simulation option. Its just greyed out

Can't u somehow attach all your windows to some sort of "basic plate" or connect windows to each other? When I open my workspace they don't show imemdiatly but i first have to click on them in the windows task bar.

When I load work space and I have several work spaces saved, I don't want them all to be open only the work space that I intend to use. Nothing is open until I click on it and the others stay closed . Is this correct?

Doesnt work at all cant save charts i think this guy is an auctioneer because he talks a thousand words a minute. All of the NT8 educational videos do this. Im just about ready to bail on NT because it is too damned complicated !
