Problem: Illegal command is when we type a wrong name, or the executable is not in the current folder and there is no path to the folder.

Solution: Switch to the folder of the executable with the cd command and/or change the current drive letter, or use the path enviroment variable with the path command.

thanks.. But why do we need DOSShell for? in another video, they use both. The DOSShell ask me for the icon of the file.. but i cant open the file and thus cant create the icon.. So you saying i should be using the DOSBOX command to open this .exe file and from there i can use DOSShell to run it
