Another Inspiration Part 3

With an attachment video of Chopin’s Sonata in Bbm Op.35 (Third Movement-FUNERAL MARCH)
(I’m sure you’ve heard this sonata many times) – The principal theme is filled with expression that ranges from condemnation to lament to shouting and anger. The trio (in Db major) is very astonishing mood. After the fading of the trio, the march returns. This sonata pictures life forces, demonic forces, the good and the bad, life and death. It is not yet clear which set of forces has emerged victorious. The poem is my own interpretation of the music.

BURDEN’S GRAVE

I am lamenting
I resent myself
Which crime do you think is more grave
Those who have sinned or those who do not forgive?

Looking at the mirror covered with dew
Something unreliable
The moist may veil the truth
But the hand of the candid might unmask the reality and the trusty

The skies have eyes
The ground’s ear is listening
Those tiny sediments abandoned by flesh
And those bone’s foul smell washed away by the cold running water

From the midst of those nightmares
I breathe deeply
I let myself go back to my own self
Then I see those beams little by little

Realising what have had happened
I will slowly march towards the fathest grave
While contemplating to my own misdeeds and wrongdoings

I whispered…
And then screamed…
While lamenting
I revolted...
What a tragedy infused with too much pain
On this ghostly and catastrophic suffering I endure

Those burdens I carry shall be buried
Those sins will be thrown away
Those debt’s list I will pay in decent
And shall never to collect them again

I shall repent
And repent again
To the grave I have yielded.
