In John Chapter 10, Jesus describes His followers as sheep and Himself as the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep. He is the way to salvation and abundant life. All He requires is that we believe, listen for His voice and follow Him.

Spending time with God and in His word will help you be able to hear his voice and live the abundant life He has called you to.

“’The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’” John 10:10 NIV

“’My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.’” John 10:27 NIV

Life Lesson: Jesus is the Shepherd and He shepherds His sheep and protects. If you recognize His voice and follow Him, you will have eternal life.

Great study! I was listening to John 10 yesterday and was a little confused close to the end of the chapter and this helped clear things up for me! I also really appreciate the reminder at the end of your video, that as we read God’s Word we should look for ways to take it to heart and apply it to our lives, not just go about our day with it only as head knowledge.
