Midt- og Sydsjællands Brand & Redning sendte en udrykning til ildløs i autotransporter læsset med diverse biler på MTV SYD sydgående ved afkørsel 39 Bårse.

MTV SYD sydgående var lukket i flere timer inden man kunne slukke og efterfølgende fjerne autotransporteren med de brændte biler.

A Car Transporter vehicle were on fire on the Danish E47 freeway at Baarse city (Zealand Island) for reasons undisclosed and a rapidly-spreading fire destroyed all the transported vehicles.

The local fire-department sent several fire engines to combat the fire. It took several hours to finally get the fire under control and remove the burned debris from the freeway. Nobody were injured because of the fire.

The firefighters did well - they acted professionally and actively. Extinguished the fire very quickly. Well done!

Surprising strategy seen here. I would advise my crew here in Germany to work differently:
1. Setting the nozzles to spray jet for most of the time would have made the water way more effective.
2. If a proportioning device is available in the firetruck, I would add some 0.3% of foam / wetting agent to lower the surface tension and further increase effectiveness especially on interior materials
3. If the first guy would have started at the tucks drivers cab and then worked backwards, the trucks cabin might have been completely saved.

And as always: this ist not meant to criticize the acting fire-crew since we only see part of the scene and don't know about reasons for regional habits, trained strategies & limitations of equipment.

looks like the fire may have started in trucks rear axle in the brake drum maybe brakes overheating for some reason.

The fir fighters came abit late and even when they arrived they were still slow causing the fire to spread

At 0:18 the fire truck was so close an the fire was at the begining . but after 14 minutes that took to go to the other trafic line was too late

Maus bombeiros. Primeiro passe para voltar. Sabendo muito bem que levará mais 20 minutos. Ao chegar, o fogo já estava consumindo a cabine do carro.

They should stop their vehicles on arrival and start spraying water from ofher side of the road, when fire was small.
Turning their vehicles on the other side was loosing too much time, causing fire spread out of control.
Just my observation.

Три пожарника тушат с большого расстояния мощными бранзбойтами машины которые уже не спасти, а один слабым бранзбойтом, тушит голову машины хотя она ещё вполне целая и её можно было спасти. Вопрос зачем нужны такие горе пожарники, что тушат сначало испорченное, а потом то что было целым когда приехали. ☹️
