As someone with anxiety, I tend to look into the future a lot, and I often base it on unfortunate things that have happened in my life and to people around me. “What if I get divorced like the rest of my family did?” “What if I’m cheated on?” “What if I become an addict like my parents did?”… it’s always “what if” and it’s really exhausting 😢😢😢

ohmigoodness!! Thank you for this message, Meredith! I am home sick with the stomach flu. There’s a major event today for our school district and i feel so guilty for not attending. But I’m in so much pain and i can’t keep anything in or down. I sent a message to my supervisor letting her know i’m down sick. Total silence which usually means disapproval. I don’t know if I’ll be charged AWOL, but I honestly don’t care at this moment. My body is telling me i need to rest and i’m going to listen to it! Thank you for giving us affirmation!! ❤
