The biggest reward for hard work in the garden is what you’ve got to take from it. I feel so lucky that I have the chance to taste everything that grows without any chemicals and under the most generous sun. With this possibility comes the greatest gift and skill of telling the difference between what you grow and what you buy as well as knowing the value of your produce.

This channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Kat's voice is so warm and calming. She seems like the kind of person you'd enjoy a good conversation with.

When the World 🌏 finally comes to an end and the supermarket 🛒 shelves are bare, you'll still be going strong 💪 Good luck 🤞 to you in your drive for self sufficiency ♥

Time to start planting broad beans! I usually plant them end of October/ beginning of November, so in May I'll have my first harvest.

They all looks so delicious. If it was me I would try the marshmallow with the different jams on top and sipping the tea🙂

You and your garden are just impressive

I discovered your channel early this year and have followed you in your videos through all the months and seasons since. The humbleness and stoicism with which you accept the blessings and challenges of life. All the back-breaking work of digging ditches to drain your fields when the rains came and threatened the crops which you had put so much careful planning and dedicated effort into planting. The pain and scars from the fig tree sap as you tended your gardens. Your competence and can-do attitude with a hammer and other tools, the construction of your polytunnel, juxtaposed with the delicate skill and spirit of adventure and discovery in grafting seedlings and branches to explore the amazing possibilities of nature. Your observations painting the moods of the seasons, showing the birds, creatures, and flowers repeating their age old dance with the cycles of the sun, moon, and stars. Helping to preserve the cultural heritage of your people by presenting to the world your traditional costumes, feasts and festivals, music and dance, arts and crafts, so it won't all be forgotten and discarded in our increasingly artificial society.

Seen through one eye, you seem a simple, traditional woman living a simple traditional life in a rural village, in tune with the seasons and in harmony with nature. And yet, seen through the other eye, you are a complex puzzle, a YouTuber, with internet and computer skills, and not only the intelligence to master a difficult foreign language like English, but also the intellect to ponder the philosophy of language itself. All in a attractive package with a pleasant personality.

Your videos tell a truly inspiring and thought-provoking story about a remarkable young woman who defies stereotypes, is a great role model for her generation, and gives hope to old people like me who sometimes worry that the future might already be lost.

And by the way, Katsiaryna, all of your hard work, endurance, and dedication to your farmstead earns you a rare treasure which many people of your generation in modern society have never and may never experience in their lives: Real food!!!

Thank you for humoring the ramblings of an old geezer.

I've never seen picked tomatoes how interesting 👍. Great job on your harvest 😊

I would love to build shelves for you out of cedar wood and have special doors with small glass windows to read labels through but keep sunlight out. A closet that is not being used for clothing could be lined with shelves all the way around with four or five levels and filled with cans and boxes of food.

You did very well this year! It's hard to believe winter is setting in already. I hope to see you back at it again in the spring. I always look forward to your videos. Thanks.

Great timing, I was going out to tend my garden when your video popped up. I'm cleaning up what's left of my tomatoes after several hard freezes this week. Thanks for posting.

You show the way for the future.
(I remember from my childhood, older people had a big variety of fruit and jam in Glas can, and on the top they used som e withe "vax" before the lid. This was a way to extend shelf life)
