ive seen Kobe hit that backboard then slam. not an illegal move at all. its like shooting and getting your own rebound.
other streetball moves are illegal tho but... hey, that's streetball. its part of the game/artform. I doubt anyone would call out Hot Sauce when he does that little breakdance thing or when he puts the ball in his shirt

He does carry the ball on some moves, it seems to usually happen when he's reading the defender, you just can't hold the ball in the palm after a dribble and then dribble again.
