I was also very tempted to get the Polestar 3 (or 4) and based on pure catalog pricing I share your point Kris... But than I received Polestar's (full operational) leasing rates and they do not seem to believe in their own product. Just looking at the financial part of the lease over 48 months (100kkm) they devaluate the car with 80% (70% for the Polestar4). Compared to the full spec Q6 etron quattro I ordered at 60%... That made the difference for me.

Just to some it up I here share you the 3 models and the business leasing rates (in Italy) for them:

14:05 I cant speak for the Q8, but thought the SQ8 has way more trunk space than the SQ6, the frunk space of the Q6 [I'll have to chekx on the SQ6] is WAY moe than the SQ8. You can barely fit a briefcase in the SQ8. Google AI will tell you the difference is only 2L, but its more than double the space, plus there is space below the trunk floor.

@Kris: Would you not choose a Macan EV instead? Same price, but then slightly down on power and specs perhaps, but way better handling and a much higher quality experience? I am curious to know your opinion. Seems like Audi is making some odd (and questionable!) choices on quality these days. (Also: I am looking forward to see pricing on the equivalent A6 E-tron due anytime soon)

In my opinion, as a new car, it looks old fashioned from the outside and cheap from inside. The driver and center display have way to many unstructured informations, speedo is small compared to completely unnecessary informations.
The price tag is way too high. The Macan does everything better.

I like the Polestar but I wonder if they will be in business 2 years from now. In the US they are basically giving away the Polestar 2 with crazy low lease rates in order to move them. It is not sustainable... The Audi is a safer bet. Personally I would get a lease turn in SQ8 ETRON for roughly half price ($40K) with 25-30K miles on it.

My dad ordered a Q6 Performance Launch edition at 83k Euros. Which is way better value than this SQ6. More range for less money. And still 260 kW peak charging.

Apart from the longer hood, I don't see much more than a slightly bloated Q4 unfortunately. 😖 Compared to the E-tron GT? You have to use a lot of imagination.😂
