Thanks for the reaction. I am Filipino that moved to the Netherlands 2 years ago. That's how I discovered your channel as I learn about my new country. I hope that we have that subscription box here since I miss some of those snacks. I do not like all the stuff in the box too but will gladly try once in a while.

unlike other countries 'snacks, Philippines snacks are usually ripped open from off-center. that's why people from other countries usually have hard time opening it

“The dish's name comes from “sisigan, ” an old Tagalog word which means “to make it sour.” Its existence was first recorded in a Kapampangan dictionary back in 1732 by Diego Bergaño, a Spanish missionary who served as the parish priest for Mexico, Pampanga at the time.”

They speak Tagalog and English in the Philippines. It just depends on the schools they went to. My Grandfather was born there.

Ube is pronounced Ooo-beh (Oooo sounds like boo, beh is like Canadian's saying eh')
"Ube, a vibrant purple yam from the Philippines, has a unique flavor that's been described as sweet, nutty, and earthy, with hints of vanilla and pistachio. Some say it also has a coconut-like aroma."

The Philippines are their own republic and not a territory of the U.S.

Filipinos language is Tagalog (tuh-gal-ugg) also known as Filipino language.
I used to date a Filipina.

I suggest you learn more about France with a portrait of its founder. To put in your list😉."Clovis, king of the franks"then I suggest you learn more about one of our kings of whom you have a city in America that bears his name."Louis IX the crusader king".Both videos are from thecajun cutthroat channel 😉

Hehe, your wife’s not very adventurous! I try new foods at least twice, the first time it’s new and strange, but the second time is the deal.

Charlie, please use scissors rather than a knife, just in case you slip!
