I’ve wondered if the unhealthy dynamic between Kody and Robyn has made his narcissism more pronounced. While there may have been glimpses of it in the early episodes, it was nothing like it is now. And seems to be steamrolling towards very concerning with every episode.

Yes! I saw that in Cody a long time ago and one of the reasons I stopped watching the show.
My mother, well into her nineties, saw a preview of one of these polygamist shows so I asked her what she thought. She said to look at the women's faces and how much pain they were in. That is wisdom and very true. How sad!
(Mom passed in her 100th year. What a precious soul!)

I wonder if you have ever discussed the dynamics of a family where the husband has a favorite wife who doesn't work, has a huge million dollar house, a nanny who takes care of the kids for her, and all of this fabulous lifestyle is supported by the three other wives..WHY have the other wives tolerated this? We get that Kody is awful, but what is wrong with the three other wives who have raised kids, held down jobs, and apparently have been manipulated into giving almost all their money to Robyn?? This isn't normal. Why are they doing this?

I completely understand why you wouldn’t or can’t diagnose. However his behavior has become so obvious…..and disturbing.

Curious then why would you suggest or recommend that Janelle express her needs to him? My experience with narcissists is that they use that against you.

The interesting thing is this is a filmed episode where members can regulate to more acceptable behavior. He thought it was acceptable behavior to show his "pain" and that is truly scary.
