In Dutch, you won't believe there's a contest to remove paving tiles and changing it to a garden... upto now they have replaced about 11 million tiles..it prevents flooding .. natural rain water harvesting..cools the urban environment
Isn't it wonderful?? Free soil should be given importance...I was sad when my father changed my small garden to an area full of tiles

That is not how you set heeonbone out. Your cuts are to small for one. You should use aa straight edge to space your blocks from your border to make sure your cuts are big enough. Also you don't need the strongline you should come off your border if it's straight no need for line.

Should use a straight edge or screed rail up the soldier course to allow for discrepancies between the edgings, something small enough to allow 2 cuts from one block while also having a decent sized cut.

Nice and simple but what about the all 3 other corner edges? Would be nice to finish that or add another video clip to show how to go about that critical section.

you need to show how it's centered, so that the same size cuts are used on either side and top and bottom, otherwise that video was a waste of time and effort

That's nice, but you won't get even cuts on both sides, if you noticed where you started you have a full brick and in the other side you will have to me a cut.

I turn my boarder round to single band, over lay, then mark my cut, right the way up the street. This is the cowboy way on the video

How do you do the corner measurement? Do you cut into the brick? Thanks

Lol I wouldn’t like to be the Labourer who has to do all of those cuts though

How or where did you get the 140mm measurement? Thanks

Do not do it that way if you're looking for symmetrical edges

Now you need to learn how to screed because that sands all over the place.

My experience of cutting in on a herring bone like that is little fiddly cuts that aren't strong even after sand and whack. End result looks smart though

laid this out on CAD and its perfect. you can get 4 cut pieces out of 1 brick. Awesome!

Naa you'd get a 45 angle and lay your first block closer to the straight edge and then run a sthil all the way up so you don't have 1 million little triangle cuts which are gunna rattle in about 3 weeks ...
