Ppl actually do this ya know to an extent. You wouldn't know if they're alt or not.
For example if you have four accounts or three, you give your channel a lil boost. And from there, you get people to subscribe to your channel
And tbh, you can't blame ppl for it, they're trying to grow their channel. Like I said, they don't go over the board. It's a minor boost to be clear

it is possible to cretae 1000 gmail account if you singup with an android mobile, you have to singup from the setting >> accounts > google > create new account, , if follow these process then you will not ask for mobile number, so you can then open youtube with new email and subscribe to your channel

i used to have 100 email account, to our favorite ship couples on deviant art since i was made a co founder of the group, but most of them are gone. i wish i kept them. i made it around 2009. i think ive only manage to make about 50 of them overall. cause i didnt know it was also another hard work to do fake arts. on each account, making it seems like its a different style.
edited, hahaha. i also done that before, it wasnt working. there was even a like dislike button on comments before, so yt also took it out many years ago. oh well...
