Welcome to "Guitar Technique" episode 011... In this episode, our technical focus will be upon string bending. If you haven’t spent a lot of time on learning to bend strings into specific pitch distances then this lesson plan will go a long way toward helping you gain a solid approach with using this technique. In the lesson, we’ll cover general ideas you’ll want to use when bending notes on the upper three strings. We’ll run through ½-step, Full-step and 1½-step bends... I’ll have a section on bending notes with other fingers, (such as 1st or the 2nd and also the 4th ). Plus, I’ll explain the technique of the “crying bend,” also called the pre-bend /release. I’ll even have exercises on doing double-note bending, (also called, “chordal bending”). So, let’s get things started by covering the basic bending approach and the common string bend distances Enjoy!

I've been searching for a video like this!! Thank you soo much!!! But I have a problem. During a bend, my ring finger tends to pluck the upper string which instantly ruins the mood. Welp!
