China also bullying Vietnam on South China Sea too, because in the years of Dai Viet (old dynasties of Vietnam), the kings had first found the Paracel and Spratly Islands, and since that, it almost became the important territories of Dai Viet. In 1859, French Empire invaded Viet Nam, so Philippines take a part from Spratly Islands to become theirs, but the others is still owns by Cochin (one territory in three territories of Vietnam that the French had cut into three, become the French Indochinese Federation). In 1945, Vietnam gain independence. But in the 1950s, France invaded Vietnam again. In 1955, Vietnam had split in two, the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam) and the Republic of Vietnam (South Vietnam). The Vietnam War started! China invaded the Paracel Islands of South Vietnam, but after fall of Saigon in 1975, the Paracel Islands' still owns by the new democratic governmant: the Republic of South Vietnam. In 1976, Vietnamese government had been united. In 1979, China invaded the border between China and Vietnam itself. Then, in 1989, after the fall of Khmer Rouge, Kampuchea has been occupied by the united country of Vietnam: Socialist Republic of Vietnam. From that to now, China has bullying Vietnam and the Philippines on the South China Sea. From that, Vietnam and Philippines became close friends, whatever the Philippines was an ally of South Vietnam in the Vietnam War.
