Have and used Bootstrap trays. Like them, they are a bit pricey. Remember bitterness of poor quality lingers longer after the cheap price is forgotten. Author unknown.

Wow you are patient I started seeds in Dec. Got hit with dang freeze n lots of rain but I figure the seeds need to acclimate 😄 I just put 35 seedling Brussels n kale n 1st time got collards to germinate**in the cold lol** I recycle containers..yogurt cottage cheese etc. I guess I'm too cheap to buy trays 😕 some day I'll get those pretty colored cells....

Got a set of the 32 cell w/removable insets last year and that sold me on the quality of Boots Strap. Slowly replacing all my trays and cell inserts with their products as they are a bit of an investment as you say. I feel it will be worth it though as starts, started at $4 last year and I don’t want to think how much it will be this year. Also I somehow have become the plant guy for four different families as of a few days ago 😮 and I want the durability. Be looking forward to how the 6-cells do. Thanks as always for the content.

I tried seeds off and on for years with no success. Damping off was always the problem. Last year I bought trays with a wicking mat and viola success. Still working on lighting but I was actually able to put my own plants in the garden for the grasshoppers and potato beetles to enjoy. Nothing like it.
