EESTI LAUL 2018: MY TOP 20 (ESTONIA) | LilaESC

My Top 20 of Eesti Laul 2018, the Estonian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Opinions are all my own, and if you disagree I'm sorry. I own none of the songs in this video, and all rights are reserved to the original performers, songwriters, and record companies.

I'm extremely disappointed with Estonia this year. Year after year Eesti Laul is one of my favourite national selections, but I thought last year's was pretty bad. However, this year is even worse. I dislike all of the songs except for my top six, and even within those six only my top three or so would be able to challenge for my top twenty in an average Eurovision year. Very disappointed, Estonia you need to step it up next year.

In my opinion Only Eurovision songs this year are "La forza" and "Home". The others are in my opinion just a radio songs.

I agree that most of the songs this year are mediocre and forgettable. They’re more like the songs you hear in boutiques like H&M and Forever 21. Good as BGM but definitely not good for entering a competition. Please, I really want to see Estonia in the grand final again.

My personal favourites would be La Forza and Home. If it’s not for the competition, Laura (Walk With Me) is also a great song. Külm sounded special in the beginning, but it’s later repeating itself too much that it also becomes plain.
