Apache Sqoop: Import Data from MySQL to Apache Hive

Demonstration of how one can efficiently import data from MySQL to Hive using Sqoop.

1. so it will not have real-time changes? but only at the time, it will import data ?
2. do it read from original tables while import or from binlogs? will it cause any read / write lock ?
