About Jessie:
Jessie Medina is a social entrepreneur, gender equity advocate, and diversity consultant. She is the founder of the FEMX (female empowerment movement and experiences) brand, dedicated to creating platforms and resources to advance women and elevate their voices. She is the CEO of FEMX Quarters (a new feminine coworking and event space in San Diego), host of FEMX Podcast, and motivational speaker.
Jessie immigrated to the U.S. at age 15 from Argentina and was a dreamer throughout college. Despite some challenges, Jessie obtained a degree in Communications and in Business Marketing. She started her corporate career in her early 20’s and was a VP of Marketing by the time she was 30. Through her years in Corporate America, she realized that there is a lot more work to be done toward equality for women and minorities. She then decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship and start the FEMX movement. She and her mom also co-founded FEM Latinas, an organization dedicated to empowering Latina women around the world. After 19 years, Jessie is now a proud U.S. citizen and determined to leave a positive mark.
Jessie hosts events and experiences to help women grow from the inside out. She speaks on overcoming fears, designing your dream life, and building a successful business through her FEMX Method. In her spare time she loves to cook, travel, and spend quality time with family and friends. Jessie is a nerd at heart and enjoys reading about everything, hosting game nights, and watching documentaries. She’s currently working on writing a book and would love to one day get a PhD. You can follow Jessie on Instagram @JessieMedinaOfficial.
