Click: Spills his drink. "That's the dumbest thing I've ever done"
Small pause as he thinks over his life choices.
"With a glass of liquid"

For that Irish dude, he should give everyone Irish names until they quit it.

As a femme lesbian, the "friends" in the gay intervention post have the same energy as straight girls who love to tell me that I "don't look gay."

Love it when men say looking after young kids is 'an easy job'. Tell me you've never stepped up as a dad without telling me you've never stepped up as a dad smh

No rules about loud naughties with the door open? Well there’s no rule against blasting ‘Baby Shark’ every single time they do it, is there?

Re the Irish guy; if they really wanted an easier version of Ciaràn; they would just say KIERAN lol. Anything else is bullying.

I feel so bad for the girl being accused of being a lesbian. Meanwhile femme lesbians (often with long hair) get kicked/bullied out of gay clubs because they “look straight”

I love the fact that, in every "AITA" video, there's always one post where OP is like:
"My mother killed my dog, burned my house down and ripped my Emotional Support Demon in half and I told her it was not very nice.
Am I the asshole?"

the "american name" story feels almost like an equivalent of deadnaming to me. it's not your name, and you've told them the CORRECT name, but they refuse to call you by your actual name.

That story with the father not wanting to pay grandma for babysitting: Yeah, that guy thinks that "women's work" is worthless. He thinks that caring for infants is "a simple job" because he never did it himself. He outsources that kind of work to women.

The gay intervention story- people who say you're wrong about your own identity and are so willing to out someone (even though OP isn't a lesbian) are people you are better off without. Yikes.

Model House Bro: "Isn't it a little weird to make a dollhouse for an adult woman?"

Also MH Bro: (Tattles on their mom when OP doesn't do what he wants)

Best warning label I ever saw was on my now wife's curling iron "For external use only"

The story about the Irish guy Cieran...

"Oh, a name that's designed to resist the erasure of your language? That's nice. You're 'Paul' now. Mhm. 'Paul.'"

Fun fact about the “American Name”: Connor is an Irish name in origin, so they couldn’t pronounce an Irish name, said they would give them an American Name and gave them a different Irish name

"Sorry niece. I did offer to make one you a house too but your dad said no"

I'm willing to bet that the kids having trouble spelling/pronouncing Ciarán are the same kids with names like Ashleigheux and Bryndeighn lmao

We had an indian guy at work and everyone decided they were gonna call him "Harry" instead of his difficult-to-pronounce name, including the then-boss. I told him in front of the rest of them that I would call him his real name because that was important, I just might not get it right immediately. Slowly but surely everyone started to call him his real name, but they were annoyed with me, haha.

"Don't put plastic in the oven" is at the sane level of understanding as "don't put metal in the microwave" and "don't put your hand on the stove burner when using it".

When I was in high school there was a girl from South Korea. She had teachers calling her John, her name is Jung. She would vent to us and say, “do I look like a boy?!?” She was so frustrated with the disrespect. In our friend group we did our best to say her name correctly, took a little while to get the J sound just right but we did it.
