Brady is officially in is "old man yelling at cloud" phase of his life. And I'm all for it.

There you have it folks. Brady said Mahomes would’ve been even better if he played in the early 2000’s. Now all the haters can stop with motion that he wouldn’t last or he’s too soft.

A good coach goes a long way into developing players.

Look at Mahomes and Jordan Love. They both sat that rookie year and look at them now. Brady is 100% correct.

The man knows football and everything he says makes absolute sense.Players are not DEVELOPED like in the past.Sometimes games almost feel “choreographed”.Same plays over and over.Definitely see where QBs stagnate. The best QBs are intelligent and can make those snap decisions and take charge of a play.

As a Chiefs fan, Brady’s praise for Mahomes almost made me shed a tear 😢 Game recognizes game! This guy is a true legend!

I love Brady but seriously. Mediocrity ruled in his day. He went to almost every divisional title game for 15 years. His division was so weak it was a guarantee every year they would be #1. Mediocrity ruled

Brady helped create this. I've literally seen teams get 15 for roughing the passer because they touched his jersey sleeve.

You could make the Argument that there isn’t a direct *NEED* to develop better QBs because the defenses are softened intentionally. Now teams can quickly manufacture QBS on a whim and replace defective ones overnight. Think of it as Amazon Prime delivery for QBS. They aren’t as polished because they don’t need to be. The NFL just wants more product and bigger numbers. So we lower the bar of entry.

I think Defenses are better nowadays then in the early 2000's IMO. Some Linebackers/Defensive Ends are almost as fast as Wide outs in today's game, shits wild

For all the people say "hes the reason they changed the rules" thats not why
They changed the rules because the owners were crying because they have to pay these QB's so much and they want them protected i mean damn🤦

People running teams like they are playing madden franchise. Think everyone just wants instant success.

There was mediocre play during the early to mid 2000’s as well. Obviously the top teams and players were elite but there was mediocrity as well.
