3D Scanning customer development - SEAD Mission 360 - Metrology - Digital Twin 2022

Our mission is to make our customers scan but as well to achieve the results they need for an economic price. We are proud to support a well-established company like SEAD, on their Mission 360 diversification. In cooperation with the customer we selected the suitable 3D Scanners for their needs and gave them the opportunity to test different systems in their environment. Because of the high performance and cost to benefit SHINING 3D Scanners where chosen. SEAD workers where trained by the 3D Scan Academy in an early stage on the new SHINING 3D FreeScan UE Pro to see how easy laserscanning with a metrology grade 3D handscanner can be. The user feedback was valuable for further software optimization on the 3D scanning software, to make it even more intuitive. Thanks to the open minded cooperation with SHINING 3D there was created value on all sides. The FreeScan UE Pro is a very versatile handheld 3D laserscanner that can spare up to three traditional 3D Scanners.

For being able to 3D Scan mid-size objects semiautomatic a SHINING 3D Transcan C was the second 3D Scanner chosen. The portable 3d scanner enables 3D-Scanning even with texture and an incredible fast workflow. Compared to other optical measurement systems the percentage of worker time per 3D-Scan decreases significantly.

With the two new 3D-Scanners for professional use the Mission 360 will be increasing it’s range of possible items for 3D Scanning significantly.
