Even with almost none of the technology of today, his teachings and thoughts spread across a myriad of fields.
The story goes that a friend of Socrates once asked a wise oracle:
“Is anyone wiser than Socrates?”
“No” was the oracle’s reply.
But when Socrates heard of this response through his friend, he felt troubled by this response. He did not believe the oracle. After all, he did not consider himself to know anything at all.
So, to prove the oracle wrong, he started investigating.
He tried interacting with people from different walks of life.
Through his interactions he discovered something very odd.
