They have never said that they would follow ncert for making questions but ncert is a reference book which contains the most syllabus of a neet question paper. And every year some questions do come out of ncert because they are related to the topic but not in ncert.

Bonus question was cancelled only right answer was considered in atom question .
In these case only right concept should be considered . As per Supreme Court.
