App ideas

If you're asking yourself how to make an app, the first step you need to take is focusing down to the core idea. Making a new startup or app idea is such a fun process, but there are so many things to do and so many decisions to make that can make or break the success of your venture. From my experience, before you look for app designers or an app developer, you need to get really clear on your app ideas. It's fun to imagine all the possible features and come up with all the to do list items you're going to need to accomplish. But more important than a to do list is a not do list.
Ask yourself "what's the one thing that makes you the only logical choice in the category?" If you can build only that, and grow into other areas through feedback from your users, you will be so much further along than if you were winging the app development process.
