Malvika Sitlani and Akhil Aryan have decided to separate and get divorced, but they're soon to be parents with Malvika pregnant and ready to give birth anytime now. Malvika and Akhil are going to be coparenting, and while Malvika has addressed their separation multiple times through her videos, Akhil has only recently made a statement for the first time after their separation announcement. Akhil is unhappy with the blame and the comments he is receiving from Malvika's followers.

Man, I could never imagine how he even think about leaving a pregnant woman. This is why I hate marriage and love in general men get away with it. And then they say “No one wants to date a single woman because they don’t wanna take care of another man’s child”. Good start taking care of your child first or figure it out before impregnating her.

I don't understand how can so many people comment in support of him especially women . You guys are missing the point altogether. It's not about the break up dude . Anyone can be wrong or it could have been mutual decision.
The point is leaving the mother of your child all alone during her pregnancy. Pregnancy is emotionally and physically the toughest time of a women's life . She didn't create the baby alone . Anything can happen during pregnancy, so many things can go wrong for the mother and the child. Not going for appointments and being supportive if not for her sake atleast for that of his child's sake he should have done his best .
Now when the child is about to be born he realises he is about to be a father. Very irresponsible attitude is what is pissing people off.

What goes inside us is empathy and sympathy for a pregnant woman who is left alone to deal with everything. We are not bound in any relationship with malvika but as humans we feel what you did to her is inhumane. Leaving her in the most vulnerable time and coming to see the child . the amount of mood swings, lows & downs and hormonal imbalances we women face on regular basis, I can’t even imagine the emotional roller coaster ride Mal. S is really going through. No one is blaming akhil for the divorce. We don't know what caused them to separate and we cannot assume that he left bc he didn’t want to become a father or smtg. BUT the issue is that he left the damn country while anything can happen to HIS child. No one told him to stand at beck and call of the mother of his child but the baby herself was blameless. If he has any conscience as a human being he should've stayed at least until the baby was born and doing well instead of running away- making Malvika go to appointments alone, be sick alone, stay lonely, vulnerable and more.
Its sad that he is already lacking as a father and he refuses to even acknowledge it. No matter how bad Malvika and his relationship was, she put the baby first and he should've too.

This is a pattern. I have seen most of the good looking guys do not want to settle with just one girl. They tend to cheat no matter what even after getting married. Because these men always have options available around them. Many people may not agree with me but this is what I have been seeing happening even with some of my close friends!

People saying we don't know who is right or wrong here are missing out on one crucial point. Regardless of who is right or wrong, the point is there is a baby in the picture. The baby wasn't made by one but two individuals, so regardless of who is in the wrong, the responsibility of the baby needs to be equally shared by the two people. So as mature individuals, you can put your differences aside when it comes to matters of the baby. Things on the internet are forever. Imagine the baby coming into the world and seeing these comments and videos of the parents some years down the line. How would that make him/her feel? How can one just up and leave to vacation at a time like this? Do you even hear yourself giving these absurd explanations? Sorry, but there is absolutely no excuse for this kind of negligent behaviour. Better pull your socks up and show up like you're supposed to.
