I really think Max Verstappen would adapt extremely quickly to NASCAR. The dude does so much sim racing that he would just have to practice and learn on iracing for a season and could come right over to NASCAR and probably be a top 20 driver. Definitely top 3 on road courses. Larson isn’t clearly the best driver in Cup so I don’t see him being better than Verstappen who is the best in F1 by a lot

The approach of taking a corner with lot of banking is very different to taking a corner with little to no banking, the racing line is different and the braking and acceleration zones are different. It's counter intuitive how different it is.

This is Apples to Oranges. While both are racers, they compete in different environments. Trying to speculate who might be better than who is a waste of time, if we really wanted an answer, it would need to be actually tested.

The NASCAR Canadian Tire series has a few open wheel expats that transition to champions and work regular NASCAR drivers when they come to road races. Just sayin.. 🇨🇦
