This is the most structurally sound formula I have witnessed being conducted to solve the area of a shape crunching down the numbers to get the finished awareness of space.

RATIO of length to width: 6:7
P: 78 meters
A: ?

Perimeter: 2(L +W)
2(6 + 7) = 26
2(18 + 21) = 78

L: 18
W: 21

Area: LW

Nobody fails in the exams where such easy questions are asked to solve.This math problem I usually solved in my childhood.

My method:

First take out the sum of ratios which would normally be 6+7 but since this is perimeter these numbers repeat so 6+7+6+7=26 so the sum of ratios is 26 so now we find length and width so first let's find width which would be ratio/sum of ratio * perimeter which for length and width would be 7/26 * 78=21 and 6/26 * 78=18 respectively so since our length is 21 m and width is 18m 21*18=378m^2 and that's the answer

2(6x + 7x) = 78
13x = 39, x = 3
18 • 21, the answer must end in 8, D.
