I have 1987 LX Hatch with a 347. I am a Chev guy, was going to put a 408 sbc with Powerglide. Decided to try Ford, built a 347 with a C4 trans and all I will say is it will eat any new Camaro, Mopar, except a Hell Cat. I have whole lot more respect for Ford products after doing this build and I hate to admit but it will rip any old big block Chevrolet muscle car apart on the street! Absolute animal show! I wanted a Foxbody because you just cannot beat them!

I'm pretty sure this video just talked me out of a rebuilt 5.3 with a blow through Torqstorm set up in my '68 Coupe. You just can NOT beat the sound of that 5.0 with the Flow's.

Long live the Fox bod.  These cars could take a flogging like no other.  I still daily one and although I maintain it, it is by no means pampered.  Still, approaching 200k it just keeps on ticking.  Always ready to get sideways at a moments notice.
