You’re a no non-sense mechanic! You just get the work done!

My favorite part was when he said “nice and gentle” when placing the part in and then proceeds to bang it with a hammer 😂 but thank you for showing me how to fix my car

FYI 🤔 Check your Rotors for build up of rust. It will make contact your dust shield and make sound when turn. Bent your dust shield back a little. It could be a simple fix

10 points for all the heavy breathing and for making me dizzy without even sniffing all the chemicals. As a instruction video it works for those who realise it will take much longer than it looks. Great work!

I seen you hit your hand that that hammer. You took that hit like a champ. I hope your wrist is okay.
Good video. Very informative.

Hey I just bought my first car, its a 1998 corolla, and when I turn the steering wheel clockwise at low speed and brake at the same time I hear a loud tooting noise. It sounds like when a train or a large ship honks. Its very very loud. I changed my front brakes but the sound was there before and after. The rear drums are very rusty and squeek but i dont think its that as the sound only happens when i move the steering wheel clockwise.
I couldnt find any video on youtube that recreates the sound I hear. I dont hear no clicking or anything, just the loud toot. Any advice?

Bada Boom, Bada Bing. Done! That was awesome to watch. I was actually wondering if some sort of specialized tool would be needed for fitment back into the transmission. Big weighted mallet... done!

I only noticed low speed clicking after I changed end links, struts and mounts. Is it possible the axle pulled out a little?

Have a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, 3.6L V-6 and 62TE 6-speed (it's Front Wheel drive). When I'm driving down a straight street or road @ 15-30 mph, if I move the steering wheel @ 5 degrees left or right (very slightly) --- to just keep the van going straight on the street, it makes a really awful grinding noise from Left front wheel. It sounds just like someone is sawing through a log at a medium pace. Brake rotors, pads and calipers are all new and have been checked and double-checked. Because the noise occurs when I turn the wheel a little bit, even at 30 mph, could it be: a bad wheel bearing ? Bad CV joint ? THanks !! Really like to watch your vids; I do my own car repairs and work, 35 years now.

Hi, thanks for the video! Hm, mine sounds different, so probably not a cv joint. I read through the comments and didn't find a description quite like mine, although grinding is probably the closest. To me it sounds like crunching on rough gravel or rocks. In fact that's what I thought it was the first few times I heard it (because there is actually a lot of gravel and road debris around here), but it's definitely the actual car. It crunches loudly when I make slow turns. Not actually sure if it does it consistently on left turns but definitely right. The thing is, my friend who was in the car with me heard it and immediately thought it was that my brake pads are really worn down. I guess he experienced something like that in the past. But the mechanics I've called said it wouldn't be related to the brakes. (I do definitely need to get them replaced regardless.) I just really want to know if it's likely something else bc that sounds pretty urgent, but I'm also low-income. My friends are going to try to replace my brake pads for me, but I have to drive pretty far to get up to them, and if there IS another issue, and it's serious, then I should probably get it fixed first and asap. But if it's the brakes after all, that would be a waste of precious money. >< Any thoughts/suggestions??

I was driving about 45mph and hit a curve on the driver’s side and basically broke both left and right of the piece in your video. They told me that particular same piece in your I’ll need both sides and they replaced them and fixed it but now when I drive about 30mph+ when I slightly turn to the left there’s a noise on the passenger seat side front tire and it sounds like it’s metal touching another piece of metal

Hi Lou - what about knocking/clunkong noise when turning, even when parked ! Would it be this or the strut mounts? In your opinion. Thanks !!

OK I really hope that you actually take the time to respond to this comment so when I turn my steering wheel makes a weird noise absolutely does not come from my tires or the wheel area has nothing to do with the wheels it is all the steering wheel it does not clunk it wherrs (
Sorry don’t know if I spelled that right not gonna try to correct it it looks pretty close at least to me it does butI can’t spell for crap ) it’s done this since day one since we bought the vehicle and we are the only owners of this vehicle ever.

So all I need is the drive shaft for one side or two?

I have a problem that persists on my 2008 Subaru Forester... Other than straight ahead I get a vibration whether I turn either right or left.... I can feel it and even hear it... Garage replaced a wheel bearing, 2 ball joints, and a CV shaft and I still have the same problem after spending $$$.$$.. I'm now retired so I can't keep spending all this money and still have the same problem... I wish I had you to fix my problem....thanks for the video
