I also wipe the edge of the frame after every coat with a wet angle brush so when it's ready for troweling time it's easy to clean . Especially those grey metal frames.

To stop it all going over the frame….. while it is all over the frame 😂. Great tips mate got taught exactly the same. I always got told a clean bead makes a massive difference
