In the book, Man's Search for Meaning, the author points out that sometimes it is simply our time for suffering. There is no joy without pain, no life without death. A couple years ago I was hospitalized for six weeks. All you can do is to accept the fact that now is the time for your suffering.

I am healthy already. I did not have a malignant disease. A non-malignant tumor caused me lots of pain. It was hard to find. After the first operation when the doctors found nothing, I was told that there was nothing, and they did not want to operate me again, although it was shown by every picture (ultrasound, CT, MR). I still had pain after pain, serious ones, I even got pethidine and fentanyl. My bowels almost refused to work because of the pains, they were paralitic. The other patients thought when they first saw me in the hospital:" This pregnant young woman is very ill." The second operation was succesful but it took two months to get operated again. Home- hospital- home - hospital....etc. Once I was about to go into shock, I was shaking like leaves in the wind, and I thought, that I probably not gonna make it through. My children were there, and they were terrified. The ambulance arrived, and they saved me. I was honestly dying, but God said: No!
