you can sleep in it but it has to be a pillow block because thats the bit that makes you sleep

From creative mode experimentation I believe you can sleep in just the top half but not the bottom half

i saw 2 half bed in the same village and also found half door and a snow grass? i dont know its name but i didnt knew it was it was rare so i mined it with silk touch but i got grass also found a pink sheep but im colorblind so i murderer it :(

I found a floating torch in a stronghold
