What is great about this kinda challenge is that because every enemy both always crits and max rolls, it turns battles more into a puzzle than a challenge, trying to find the right team comp 'n solution within possibility in order to overcime

Something about how these uber complex challenges makes random NPCs massive threats feels so motivational? Like, these trainers probably get steamrolled by everyone else, but here you come giving them the chance to see an opponent struggle against them! I bet you totally made hiker Dylan's day!

8:03 worst mistake in the run, Kabuto can have battle armor which nullifies critical hits, which would have been SO useful going forward from that point on

41:09 the crazy thing about this team is if you replace the beedrill with a spike setter like skarmory you have yourself a genuinely solid fast offense team for competitive gen 3, the team is surprisingly well thought out

I really like how this challenge required you to build and adapt your team for each fight as you went along, it added a really nice layer of depth to the challenge instead of just using the same 6 mons to steamroll everything.

Now I kind of want to see the opposite of this. How quickly can you beat a pokemon game if RNG was all in your favor. So Best RNG basically

I know it would've taken literal years, but if he just bought the Magikarp in Route 4's Pokémon center earlier and switch-trained it until it evolved, he would have a Gyarados with Bite, a 100% accurate move that isn't resisted by any of Super Nerd Miguel's Pokémon and he would've saved himself so much pain
