This my last video of my mini series of Ally and Billy tragic love story. I was dragging to make it, because I knew when Ally cries, I'll cry. I wanted to make this video around "With all of my Heart, FOREVER". I hope you guys enjoy it.

During the pandemic, when I was in quarantine, and recovering from Covid 19, I had the opportunity to watch my DVD Collection of the Ally McBeal Series 1-5.I can't tell you how much I enjoyed seeing the series again, and marveling at how great it was.The production values, the script, the actors, and the great music, along with the enchanting voice of Vonda Shepard whose little songs were essential for expressing the emotional state of mind of the main character, Ally McBeal.Which brings me to Calista Flockhart.What a brilliant actress she is! She could cause you to laugh in one episode, and bring you to tears in another.Yet the one thing that always bothered me, was why Billy, in the Episode "Side Show" from Season 2, told Ally during the Therapy session with Tracy that she would always be unhappy, was never satisfied, that love was wasted on her.I wondered how Billy could be so cruel to say that to her, knowing it would hurt her, and cause her to cry.Why on Earth did he say that?Then I remembered what Ally said at the end of the Pilot Episode:"The real truth is I probably don't want to be happy or content, because then what?I actually like the quest, the search.That's the fun, the more lost you are, the more you have to look forward to.What do you know?I'm having a great time, and I don't even know it".Billy actually understood Ally, even more than she did.Yet for all their faults, they still, in their hearts, still loved each other.The last words they said to each other while leaving the therapy session was, " I LOVE YOU".

Everyone is so oooh aaah about the characters. What about Gil and Calista? I read in quite a few news items that Calista broke down in this scene (not as badly as Sarah with David Boreanaz in Angel) but Calista felt her heart tug knowing that her character would never get to be with her childhood sweetheart and Gil was at the point of tears too. They did such an outstanding job portraying these two lovebirds throughout the series and my husband has adopted the 'All of my heart ... forever'! I say it to him to. Amazing job Gil and Calista. Big fan of Gil ❤❤❤

This was a great tribute to Billy Thomas and Ally McBeal.I can't help but cry whenever I watch that episode of season three of Ally McBeal, "Boy Next Door", when Billy passes away.That moment when Ally frantically tries to revive him, and crying hysterically when she realizes he has tragically died, is truly heart wrenching.I believe when writer/creator David E. Kelley decided to kill off Billy Thomas, Ally's childhood sweetheart and true soulmate, he took the romance and heart out of the series.If you would have taken a poll of the followers of the series, they, like I, would have wanted for Ally and Billy to eventually get married, and end the series on a positive note.Those tender moments between them, especially in season one, were unforgettable.

it's july 2024. i don't know why i didn't get to see this episode when i'm so attached to the series. but now somehow i'm thankful that i didn't. i may not have made it thru as i lost someone also months before that episode aired. moving tribute.

I’m rewatching the series and this episode is undoubtedly the best episode.
Beautiful and heartbreaking, all these years later I still get a tear, especially the ending!.
Also the chick sitting beside Ally use to be on Australian show Neighbours.

I never cried so hard at a characters death as much as I did with Billy. I think the music added to the emotion. Ally dancing with Billy's ghost and her begging him to come back was heartbreaking 😢😢

There are not many series that made me cry as much as this did apart from This Is Us which matched this in terms of ugly crying, sobbing, running nose etc. If anyone had seen me at the time they would have thought that I genuinely had just lost someone!

Ein tragisches, dramatisches ende die die beiden. Ich muss immer heulen 😭 bei der Folge.
Die Serie ist danach nicht mehr so toll wie bis dahin, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere. Habe auch die dvd komplette serien Box. Werde es wieder schauen. Tolle Schauspieler und Musik. Gibt es heute nichts vergleichbares in der Art. Schade.
