Composting is a great way to make full use of the food material that would normally be thrown away. In the US food chain supply, it is estimated that 30-40% is wasted, which equates to more than 100 Billion pounds! Composting reduces the food waste we create and allows a household to create their own dirt for gardens and planters.

Ages: 5+
Grades: K+
